07-18-12 Date Application filed with Bulgarian MOJ

07-26-12 Preliminary approval received from country for adopting 11-year old girl

08-24-12 Preliminary packet of information submitted to home study agency

08-28-12 Caseworker assigned for home study

09-10-12 Home Visit with social worker

09-25-12 Second visit with social worker at her office

10-10-12 Notification of Home Study approval

10-19-12 Home Study approval report in hand!

10-23-12 USCIS I-800 A application submitted

11-28-12 USCIS Biometrics Appt

12-08-12 Received in the mail the I-797 Notice of Action (approval) on the I-800A application.

01-04-13 Dossier received by agency in North Carolina

01-17-13 Dossier received by agency in Bulgaria

02-04-13 Entered in Registry with Bulgarian MOJ

02-06-13 Application considered by the International Adoption Council and approved.

02-25-13 Received notification of travel date for first trip

03-16-13 to 03-23-13 First trip to Bulgaria (meet Abigail!)

03-29-13 I-800 package delivered to USCIS

04-12-13 I-800 provisional approval date

04-20-13 Bureau of Consular Affairs notification letter of I-800 approval sent to Embassy in Bulgaria

04-30-13 Provisional Visa Interview (handled by Vesta in Bulgaria)

05-24-13 Article 5 Letter Submitted to MOJ

07-04-13 Received MOJ Signature (approximate date)
